"Young, fun and love to learn!" - Nikki 



I have a BA Drama and Film degree (Wits 2009).



I am a 29 year old, single, female. I am well educated, with more than 16 years of full-time education. I currently hold a Bachelor of Dramatic Art's degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. In the past eight years, I have more than seven years of full-time working experience. My reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities in English are excellent,  I also speak Afrikaans as a second language.

 

Since graduating I have worked with Doreen Morris on Glitterati and Tongelos for Kyknet on Dstv.  On set there were several duties such as runner, greeting and preparing guests for their interviews, set up and running of Skype for the long distance interviews, collection and set up of set dressing. However capturing and editing the inserts were a main part of the job.



There have also been various other post-production film editing jobs. As an integral part of a shift in a major company an information video was produced to keep all the staff up to date with occurrences, which proved to be an easy and effective way to keep all the staff calm and eased the transition from one system to another. I did the storyboard, the scriptwriting, the filming, the editing and final packaging for the DVD. FCP7 and Avid are the editing suites of choice.

 

I am currently exploring the world of graphic design. I was the sole designer for a marketing, branding and advertising agency who mainly works in pharmaceutical industries. Clients included; Adcock Ingam, Bayer, Pfizer, Mylan, Nutricia, MSD, Sanofi, Eli Lilly, Bausch + Lomb, Zoetis, Novo Nordisk, Aspen, Boehringer Ingelheim. Conceptualising major campaigns from start to finish and producing top results is what I pride myself on. I also set up their website (see Enkosi Website below) and maintained their Facebook page. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Freehand are the image suites of choice.
